Your contacts never leave your phone
People are referenced by an anonymous ID. Phone numbers and emails never sync, so "we never store your contacts" is literally true.

What does VESTAL actually do?
You name the people you want to stay close to and set how often you want to reach out. VESTAL tracks how you are doing against that rhythm and, when you start to drift, surfaces the person with the message already written. You send it in one tap.
How is this different from a reminders app?
A reminder tells you to text someone and leaves the hard part to you. VESTAL hands you the draft, written from what you already know about that person, or a plan you can actually book. It also quotes the reason you gave for why they matter, so the nudge is your own words rather than an app nagging you.
Is VESTAL a personal CRM?
No. A personal CRM asks you to maintain a database of people and log every interaction by hand. VESTAL is built so there is nothing to maintain: it logs that you reached out from the send itself, and the only thing you ever write is why someone matters to you.
Does VESTAL upload my contacts?
No. You pick people through Apple's contact picker, which does not give the app access to your address book. Each person is referenced by an anonymous ID. Phone numbers, emails and address book data never sync, so we never store your contacts.
Can VESTAL read my messages?
No. Messages are sent through Apple's own composer, and the app only receives a sent or not-sent receipt back. The words you actually write are never stored or transmitted.
Does VESTAL need access to my calendar?
Only when you book a plan, and only to write that plan to your calendar. Your free evenings are worked out on the device, and calendar data never leaves it.
What does VESTAL cost?

Is there an Android version?
Not today. VESTAL is iOS only, because the parts that make it work with no data entry, the contact picker and the message composer, are built on Apple's own frameworks.
